Job Summary:
Hydro Electrician will be responsible to repair and maintain electrical equipment pertaining to production processes and circuits installed within the facilities. This encompasses a spectrum of critical systems, such as Automated Production Machinery, cranes, lighting fixtures, breaker panels, and MCC switchgear.
Required Education/Experience:
Current Oregon Electrical License (Limited Maintenance Electrician, Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician, General Journeyman Electrician)
Minimum 4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Proficiency in Temperature Controllers, PLC’s, HMI’s, and Frequency Drives, with a knack for optimizing their performance.
Experience in PLC programming preferred, enhancing versatility in equipment management.
Strong blueprint and schematic interpretation skills, facilitating efficient troubleshooting and modification.
Robust mechanical aptitude, ensuring effective maintenance and operation of machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute mechanical maintenance tasks promptly to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
Conduct monitoring and preventative maintenance (PM/PDM) procedures to uphold equipment functionality.
Utilize CMMS system adeptly for comprehensive documentation of repairs and associated time.
Install new equipment and execute modifications on existing machinery proficiently.
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair duties on production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems to preempt potential issues.
Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Temperature Controllers, PLC’s, HMI’s, and Frequency Drives for optimal equipment performance.
Take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.
Adhere to pertinent state and federal regulations, codes, and ordinances, prioritizing safety protocols and regulations.
