JOB SUMMARY:

The Test Lead is pivotal in ensuring that technical changes are properly tested prior to implementation to ensure seamless functioning and reliability of Novocure’s Enterprise Technology (ET) systems and software. This role will collaborate with the project management, development, and business teams to ensure that delivered solutions are properly tested prior to implementation in a production environment. The Test Lead will develop comprehensive test plans, and execute all testing phases including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing. By providing leadership and expertise in software testing, the Test Lead contributes significantly to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.

This is a full time, exempt position, reporting to Director, Technology Quality and Financial Operations and is based in the Chesterbrook, PA office with the ability to work remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage with the technical and project teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
• Support the development of master testing plans for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Conduct various types of IT testing including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing,
• Lead the execution of user acceptance testing, tracking execution status and defect resolution
• Deliver test results as a key deliverable in all Novocure projects

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree
• Basic knowledge of test scripting, how APIs work, and SQL required

• 3+ years of test execution experience, with a focus on developing and executing test plans supporting complex software products
• 3+ years of SAP experience in either FICO, SD, MM.
• Experience in all phases of testing lifecycle from writing test plans to and executing user acceptance test scripts.
• Experience in using project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Jira
• Comfortable in Microsoft Office products
• Experience working within a highly regulated healthcare, MedTech, or pharma technology or software development organization
