About the role We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional for the role of Head of Financial Services. As the Market Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization as a leading digital software engineering business. This leadership role demands a profound understanding of the market and business landscape, coupled with a proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving sales growth, fostering synergies across different units, and establishing a differentiated market position, contributing to the overall success of Tietoevry Create. The role will report directly to the Lead of Market Unit Americas.
Responsibilities
Lead the agenda for growth, market share, and profitability
Define and implement strategies that establish a differentiating position for the company in the market, including unique value propositions, customer mix, service mix, and key capabilities
Drive business growth and increase sales, leveraging deep understanding of the market
Facilitate synergies among different units to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in market penetration
Ensure exceptional delivery and customer experience in the market with focus on enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction as key drivers of business growth
Establish an efficient operating model for the go-to-market strategy, and ensure alignment with global standards while catering to regional market nuances
Manage financial performance with transparency and adherence to regulatory standards, compliance with governance requirements
Build and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and ethical conduct
Engage effectively with stakeholders, including potential shareholders, and clients while providing clear and timely communication of strategic objectives and performance outcomes
When necessary, travel nationally to meet with clients or prospects, and occasionally travel abroad to collaborate with our global colleagues
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or related field
Extensive leadership experience in the digital engineering or technology sector, with a strong understanding of the financial services
Proven track record in increasing sales, building high-performance teams, and developing synergistic operations
Strong understanding of compliance and governance in a public company context
Exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience and qualifications in finance or corporate governance are considered a strong advantage
