What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Logistics, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) applications and interfaces.
  • Demonstrate and ensure a strong customer service commitment within the organization.
  • Perform scheduled configuration changes and software updates to shop floor systems. Executes all upgrade/commissioning steps per plan and direction from Production and Logistics Systems team lead.
  • Lead cross functional teams to investigate and resolve complex system issues and incidents. Act as internal consultant, providing guidance and leadership on complex projects.
  • Work with end users to determine business needs/requirements for new/enhanced systems or applications and identify decommissioning opportunities for obsolete technologies.
  • Performs business process testing and IT integration tests on new enhancements and applications.
  • Initiate communication as necessary to ensure clear understanding of business issues, project timelines, incident ticket status, etc.
  • Serve as a catalyst for solving business problems through Production, Logistics, and Warehouse Management systems

Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Here's what else you'll bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Analyst developing, integrating, implementing, and supporting MES, Logistics, and Warehouse technology solutions, preferably at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in implementing large, cross functional business and/or manufacturing IT solutions, utilizing SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Specific, direct experience in initiating and driving business process analysis and business process improvement efforts, particularly involving utilization of information systems.
  • Breadth and depth of experience derived from actual “hands-on” manufacturing support experience.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of manufacturing business processes and materials management/logistics practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, then develop improved solutions to mitigate or eliminate issue recurrence.
  • Excellent communication, organization, documentation, co‐coordinating, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work with others efficiently and effectively in a dynamic greenfield environment.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $110,000-$130,000

Internal leveling code: IC9
