Two Six Technologies is growing, and we are looking for a Systems Administrator to support our Corporate team. You will be responsible for assisting the Information System Security Manager in ensuring compliance for assigned classified programs. The ideal candidate is one who is eager to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced and growing environment, have great attention to detail, strong analytical and critical problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. 

The environments you will work in include Windows 10/11, Active Directory/Group Policy, VMWare vSphere / ESXi, etc. 

The position will be based out of our Herndon, VA office with potential local travel.

What You Will Do:

• Work with Systems Architect/Engineer to configure and install new systems/networks
• Install, configure, design, administer and maintain Windows servers or workstations
• Administering user accounts and access control within information systems to include creation of user accounts, assigning permissions to accounts, and enforcing security access policies to ensure compliance
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Perform system backups and data recovery

What You Will Need:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance - willing and able to get a Poly
• 3+ years of experience working within a classified environment as a Systems Administrator
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related degrees or advanced professional industry certifications and additional related experience can be substituted
• Required to have an 8140 certification such as Security+, GCISP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP, etc.
• Hands-on experience working with the following: VMWare, Nagios, Windows AD, Ansible, and Veeam
• Working knowledge of government regulations such as the DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, etc.
• Basic understanding of security compliance matrix
• Working knowledge of the Windows environment

What We Would Like:

• Operating System certifications such as LPIC, Linux+, RHCSA, Microsoft Administrator certifications, etc. 
• Familiarity with Linux administration, specifically with Red Hat and Ubunut/Debian
• Experience with scripting in Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash scripting

Security Clearance needed:

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
