As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Studio Business Manager to work alongside our Studio Manager at our state-of-the-art studio facility in Warmley, Bristol. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic person to lead the operations and logistical management of our state of the art production facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business management, marketing, and client relations within the music and film industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to maximise the utilisation and profitability of the cutting edge production facility.
- Implement innovative marketing strategies to showcase our studio and attract a diverse range of music and production clients.
- Manage the studio's profit and loss (P&L) accounts, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for studio clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs and enquiries.
- Work alongside the Studio Manager to Coordinate studio bookings, scheduling, and diary management for recording sessions, film shoots, and events.
- Oversee events management within the production facility, including album launches, film screenings, and industry networking events.
- Cultivate and expand a network of music and production clients, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Develop a rate card and pricing strategy for studio services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Experience/Skills Required:
- Proven experience in studio management or business management within the music or film industry.
- Strong understanding of studio operations, equipment, and production processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities with ease.
- Extensive experience in marketing and promotional activities.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility is key in our small team environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
