Role Description
This position has come about for maternity cover. The purpose of this position is to drive tax planning and efficiency for the Low Carbon Group. The Senior Tax Manager will take ownership for Low Carbon’s tax planning for all transaction, both buy-side and sell-side and advising on the set up of new structures, implementing transfer pricing policies and managing the group tax manager, who manages tax compliance processes. This role encompasses the entire Low Carbon Group including Head Office, operational companies, development SPV’s, holding companies and the fund. It involves an interesting mix of advisory work, partnering with the investment teams, contributing to forecasting and budgeting and working closely with the Finance team.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator able to influence at a senior level with strong tax and financial acumen. This role sits with the Corporate Finance team and will report to the Finance Director.
