Our FP&A team at Storio group comprises a number of finance professionals whose roles cover traditional FP&A activities, commercial finance and business partnering. We work with stakeholders across our sales, marketing and operations teams to drive financial performance and enable the company to deliver on its objectives. We are a diverse and multicultural team spread across various locations in Europe with a dominant presence in London. Primary Responsibilities
- Supporting Operations stakeholders by producing monthly financial reports, explaining variances and providing insights.
- Bringing the financial story to life in a visual way by owning the production of management presentations.
- Taking part in monthly performance review meetings to present financial results.
- Developing an understanding of our financial systems and processes to drive efficiencies and standardise/automate wherever possible.
- Playing a key role in the budget and forecast processes, building templates and reports, modelling inputs and assumptions.
- Ensuring robust financial controls are in place to avoid surprises.
- Working with FP&A and Accounting teams across the group, building relationships with key individuals to manage month end tasks and deal with financial queries.
- Maintaining and updating supplier pricing information.
- Building and maintaining invoice databases.
- Capturing financial risks and opportunities and communicating them to stakeholders.
- Supporting commercial decision making by building business cases and undertaking scenario modelling.
- Getting involved in financial deep dives or ad hoc analysis as required.
Experience and Attributes we'd like to see
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQE
- Having an analytical mindset and an attention to detail
- A desire to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance teams
- Highly structured and organised
- Being enthusiastic and proactive
- Experience of working in a complex product environment
- Being a self-starter, able to work remotely and autonomously
- Excellent modelling skills, able to work with large datasets
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Showing resilience when working under pressure
Nice to Have Experience
- Working in a hybrid company environment
- Working across countries and cultures
- Knowledge of Looker, Qlikview & Google suite
- Familiarity with Oracle
- An understanding of product pricing
