Your Next Exciting Role Nium is actively looking for a talented Staff – Product Manager to look after our newly created Product Compliance role in London to provide regulatory guidance to the business on a range of areas including meeting the essential legal requirements in Europe.You will be building and developing the compliance and governance frameworks, as well as leading regulatory risk assessments across Europe, managing product reviews and undertaking gap analysis to identify potential risks.  We are looking for someone who is confident working in fast paced environments and has the ability to influence leadership as the business expands into new jurisdictions.

What would a day @Nium look like?

• Provide leadership and oversight to ensure that all products and services adhere to relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
• Keep compliance right at the heart of the product development cycle and take a lead in the solution design and implementation
• Identify key regulatory priorities given regional risk exposure and use this to build a product strategy to ensure Nium is meeting its mission.
• Stay abreast of changes in regulatory frameworks and assess their impact on the company's products and services.
• Work with Regulatory Product Compliance regional team members and Product teams to identify key regulatory blockers, issues and/or interpretation points regarding new product developments and deliver solutions
• Develop an escalation framework for product teams to escalate queries and receive timely input and feedback
• Work with  regional Compliance Officers, MLROs and supporting them with regulatory notifications & external reporting in relation to Safeguarding

Which Skills & Experiences will make you successful?

• Proven experience in a Product Compliance role within the fintech or financial services industry in the UK, Malta, Netherlands and Amsterdam.
• Strong understanding of relevant financial regulations and licensing requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
