Description

• You will generate and leverage inputs such as user research, product data, customer feedback, and product discovery to design industry-defining products.  
• You will work closely with product leadership to develop innovative ideas generating company revenues. 
• You will develop a diverse team of world-class designers and UX researchers and data designers. 
• You will influence across Xeneta, creating processes to connect multiple design approaches into a single, holistic, end-to-end experience for our customers, and ensure a consistent high bar for the Xeneta experience.
• You will uplevel the aesthetic, usability, and delightfulness of Xeneta's CX. 
• You will identify new growth opportunities through the lens of the functional and emotional benefits your customer experience can deliver. 
• You will ensure a high bar and drive for excellence with an optimistic and collaborative approach that inspires your team. 
• You will balance visual, motion, and interaction design to create a delightful CX
• You will clarify ambiguity to craft specific and actionable vision and design concepts. 
• You will build foundational design and customer experience systems that others can leverage to build specific experiences. 
• You will leverage visual, written, and verbal communications to influence across all levels, including C-Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to drive design excellence and define the long-term roadmap for Xeneta.
• Lead by doing through all phases of product design: from early generative research to product definition, from whiteboarding iterations to mockups and flows. from getting buy-in from internal stakeholders, to testing new concepts and experiments with customers. 
• Partner and engage with VPs across the organization to drive buy-in, funding, and adoption of design initiatives.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact the team ability to deliver goals (e.g., not having UX/UI visions for our products).
• Raise the bar on design quality (never satisfied with the status quo) across the product portfolio. 
• Manage a team of talented designers, UX researchers, data designers. Defines holistic strategy and direction.
• Owns and drives processes used by the design teams to work across multiple products. Create scalable systems to enable design teams.
• Work to define new products and applying new technology. Bring structure to ambiguity or uncertainty.
• Stay on the cutting edge of what's new in technology and user experience, leading team to identify and experiment with new promising tech and interaction patterns.
• Evangelize initiatives to diverse audience, setting up Xeneta's experience as leader for external audiences.
• Inspire, lead, and develop a diverse team creating a culture of innovation and creativity. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 10+ years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, product designer or similar. Preference for Saas experience.
• Online portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solution, specifically on desktop.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Experience with rapid iterative design and development process.
• Track record of influencing senior management to obtain funding for design projects.
• Experience leading projects with multi-disciplinary team including UX researchers, designers, product managers, engineers.
• Fluency in best practices for platform information architecture and design. 
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Be willing to roll up the sleeves to meet product deliverables.
• Passion for the UX design role, ability to hire and develop talents.
• Design operations to drive roadmaps, planning, and resource prioritization.
