More about the role & team

You will be a Sales Leader with 10+ years of experience of sales management of software sales & renewals in the financial services industry. You will work closely with other employees, spanning the Confluence product suite. The core focus will be managing the Region's Enterprise Sales Director team retaining and selling to global asset managers/owners, service providers and allocators by building and growing relationships with senior level decision makers. Via solution selling, you will be responsible for demonstrating the value of Confluence’s solutions and services by making thoughtful recommendations to help clients/prospects achieve better business outcomes.  

In addition to revenue responsibility, the Manager’s responsibilities include mentoring salespeople, developing tactical sales and renewal plans and leading sales initiatives for the broader organization. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority.  You will help our salespeople develop their skills and achieve their quotas. Performance is based on achievement of quarterly revenue targets, as well as the number of client meetings attained in the region.   

What skills and experience do I need to succeed?

There is clear investment in  new products in this part of the business, and this opportunity would suit someone who has the drive and passion to move the team forward and grow revenue, both through existing and new accounts.

You will have industry experience, working within Investment Management Solutions within a Senior Sales capacity.

You will understand the Investment Management market in Europe, if not UK/Ireland, ideally the Regulatory market within Europe, and will have an existing network.  This is a player-coach role, where you will manage a mid-sized European team, whilst holding an individual and group sales target. 

You may have worked as a ‘Head of Sales’, ‘Senior Enterprise Sales Manager', ‘Enterprise Sales Director’ or similar.
