Outbound Marketing Manager at Freshwave Group

We have 6000+ mast site locations, have connected 2000+ buildings and support 200+ outdoor networks. Our managed sites include some of the biggest, most challenging wireless environments in the UK, including railway stations, Canary Wharf, City of London and events like the London Olympics.

We are hiring an Outbound Marketing Manager to join our team!

In this role you will lead all outbound marketing strategies in order to promote our brand and solutions to increase awareness and generate leads. Using comprehensive outbound approaches, you’ll support both the marketing and sales teams to create a seamless customer experience across all marketing touchpoints which will include email, events, social media, website and even direct mail.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to plan, execute and optimise multi-channel outbound marketing campaigns using tools such as HubSpot. Activities would include omnichannel strategies, account-based marketing, nurture campaigns, industry events, company newsletters, etc.
  • Identify target audiences and segments to tailor marketing messages and approaches effectively.
  • Create and/or manage content creation to support outbound marketing activities (such as, emails, PowerPoint slides etc.) with the support of both internal team members and external resources.
  • Conduct both market and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends, critical digital use cases and environment changes (i.e. upcoming election).
  • Work closely with the sales teams to understand target accounts and obtain relevant data to plug into outbound marketing campaigns.  
  • Monitor marketing tactics performance and adjust as needed to maximise results (i.e. obtaining leads).
  • Create and report back to Head of Marketing and sales leads on a regular basis, highlighting success, areas for improvement and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Support Head of Marketing and sales teams in identifying, organising and attending industry events to promote our brand value and obtain leads.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of brand, particularly tone of voice and act as a brand guardian for the company across both marketing activities and events.

Requirements

  • 5 years+ experience in a marketing role and as a bonus, 2 years+ in a sales or complementary role.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of the telecoms or technology market would be beneficial.
  • Use of or insight into digital marketing tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha and Canva would be helpful.
  • Confident writer with the ability to adapt style if needed for brand purposes.
  • Strong motivation to simplify the complex, using credible language and insight to optimise customer communication.  
  • Good commercial awareness, strategic thinking and an ability to deliver customer-focused marketing activities.
  • Able to work on both long-term planning of campaigns alongside short-term reactive requests.
  • Some experience in writing social posts and using channels to promote content (via LinkedIn and Twitter).
  • Able to hit the ground running with a go-getter attitude.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
