We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Realtionship Manager within our International Development Organisations, US Rep Office Front Office team reporting to the Head of the US Rep office with a dotted line to the Head of International Development Organisations Coverage. The role covering clients under the sub-segment that encompasses NGOs, Foundations and for-profit development organisations, with a strong focus on capturing FX flows and payments opportunities. This is a coverage and business development driven role, focused initially on executing an ambitious client acquisition strategy to build a portfolio managing the clients’ needs, cross-sell, and revenue optimization on an ongoing basis.

FX and cross-border payments are often complex and expensive, especially when operating in emerging markets. Crown Agents Bank (CAB) wraps its deep and trusted relationships and strength of network around innovative digital capabilities, and cross-border transaction banking solutions to enable fintech, corporates, governments, development organisations and banks to move money to, from, and across often hard-to-reach markets.

 

Job Description

The team are driving the core new to bank revenue growth for the business and has made FX & payment services a key focus area for the bank more broadly in terms of product capabilities. The bank is firmly establishing itself as a leading provider of emerging market currencies & payment services to FinTech, payment & remittance companies across the OECD markets and are starting establish an impressive set of relationships across the Tier 1 & 2 Bank segment. The successful candidate will be a highly driven individual, looking to make a difference in a high growth business. They will be well positioned to manage complex FX & payment related client discussions and to navigate internal challenges to mobilize client deals and revenue growth. We require someone with an extensive and well established network of bank relationships and an ability to develop FX & Cash Management business opportunities across OECD markets.

 

  • To play a senior role in building out the bank’s FX & payments business – assist Sales with sales agenda & assist product & IT to develop client focused solutions, with a particular focus on expediting the development of the Payments product.
  • Providing key support to the Bank’s clients, prospects, and strategic partners.
  • Marketing to existing and potential clients – driving revenues, client penetration & product development.
  • Represent Bank at client meetings, with existing clients and new leads with prospective clients.
  • Attend and represent the Bank at conferences and client forums – promoting the Bank and our core products.
  • The candidate will have the ability to prioritise their day in a fast-moving market and high growth environment.
  • Operate a robust compliance and risk management framework – ensuring that bank’s policies are adhered to.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Degree desirable but extensive experience across bank segment & established network more critical
  • Ability to work in a front office team environment
  • 5-10 years relevant market experience - Evidence of a client first attitude
  • Sales negotiation combined with Financial markets and financial systems experience
  • Ability to navigate the company, to ensure the best of the group is targeted against our most valued clients and opportunities
  • Demonstrate sales experience in international financial markets and geographies
  • Experienced salesperson who has covered Banks, Non-bank financial institution client
  • Evidence of client relationship skills, & strong revenue generator
  • Passionate to make a difference and to positively influence and drive the change agenda.
  • Self-motivated and revenue driven, with an entrepreneurial attitude to work.
  • Passionate about the FX & payments  market with the ability to speak confidently to C-level clients
  • Enjoys networking with key decision makers to maintain and secure new business.
  • Ability to close client deals and mobilise the bank to generate revenues in a timely fashion
