Karen Millen, a renowned fashion brand, is on the hunt for a highly motivated Lead Stylist. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to showcase your styling expertise and contribute to our vibrant ecommerce gallery.
As a key member of our studio team, you will report directly into our Art Director and work closely with our studio production team. Your primary responsibility will be to create inspiring and relevant looks that resonate with our customer base and align with the Karen Millen Brand vision while remaining commercially aware.
What you'll be doing
Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a professional manner.
Take accountability for daily creation of compelling looks and Hair & Make up briefs that set the standard for optimised numbers across e-commerce sets.
Responsible for achieving daily shoot targets across gallery whilst ensuring quality and consistency of imagery never slips.
Hit KPIs consistently with passion and enthusiasm.
React to sales and styling feedback from the buying and design team
Identify workflow blockers and implement necessary changes to support the team in collaboration with the Studio manager.
Assist the Art director in training and briefing our wider FL team.
Co-direct models on set.
Onboard new hair and makeup artists.
Manage your product handovers and sample returns post-shoot.
Assist your Art director in creating seasonal briefs for hair and makeup teams.
Be on top of seasonal styling kit updates and trend knowledge.
Work with Art Director on casting briefs and scouting for new faces.
Respond quickly to feedback and new business needs.
Be a team player prepared to take on ad-hoc tasks such as supporting the still life team.

Previous experience in an ecommerce Styling role.
Excellent communication skills and team player attitude.
Ability to think quickly on your feet to ensure desired outcomes and standards are met.
Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams with a positive attitude.
Proficient knowledge of industry software and up-to-date with styling trends.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Proactive in maintaining a professional and organised working area.
Commitment to improving the department’s operation and increasing knowledge of own and related job functions.
