We are looking for a talented Senior Photographer to join the team creating world class visuals at the KAREN MILLEN studio. Operating from our Manchester studio you will be working alongside our Studio manager, Art director, Stylist and, Production co-ordinator.
Reporting into the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for bringing the Karen Millen product to life through high quality digital photography. You will use exceptional lighting, have technical brilliance and a strong eye for detail and creative flair.
What you'll be doing
Working in the studio team alongside our stylist and art director taking digital images of Karen Millen products.
Take full responsibility for ensuring our products are lit correctly, efficiently, and creatively, in accordance with our company guidelines and the brands creative direction.
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and hit KPIs consistently.
Produce high quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent.
Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting and keep accurate daily shoot records. For your set and those of any freelancers.
Name and maintain digital asset files creating daily contact sheets and uploads to creative force.
Image selection; working with the stylists and art director to edit.
Crop and process all images, maintaining file size specification guidelines.
Perform quality assurance on all images.
Work alongside our art director to create seasonal gallery refreshes.
Accurately archiving images to be easily accessed by other departments.
Ensure all images are ready in advance of online sales.
Meet daily and weekly deadlines to prepare for new website material.
Have the ability to work well within a team working well under pressure with a flexible attitude.
Be responsible for care and upkeep of all studio equipment.
Complete ad hoc duties. And be ready to contribute ideas that support elevating our ecommerce gallery and keep us as a premium, fashion leader.

Experience in a studio environment.
Excellent knowledge and experience of digital cameras and lighting.
High technical proficiency in PhotoShop, Capture One Pro, Bridge and networked computers.
Must work well in a team and be able to collaborate with confidence.
Work well to deadlines, pace and under pressure.
