What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and review daily activities such as admissions to ensure accuracy.
Work with other departments to obtain information needed to receive reimbursement.
Run weekly reports to monitor changes to patients so that accurate billing can be done.
Monitor and resolve reimbursement issues for assigned payers timely and in putting accurate notes in the system.
Follow up on authorizations requested.
Provide back up to other staff as needed.
Participate in training and staff meetings as required.
What You’ll Bring to Our Team:
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Three years' experience as a medical biller, hospice billing preferred.
Ability to problem-solve billing issues and communicate findings.
