Location and flexible working 

This role could be based in either our Wythall , Telford, London or Edinburgh office working two days per week in the office. We recognise the benefits of flexible working and will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

The Role  

We’re currently recruiting for a HR project manager to join our HR & Premises Change team to lead the design, planning & delivery of standalone projects or discrete work streams/projects within a larger project/programme.  

 

There are a number of exciting projects for both HR and the organisation that need to be delivered this year and into next year. There is a real opportunity to drive impactful change that makes a real difference to our colleagues and the organisation. 

  Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Business Sponsor, other relevant stakeholders and the project team to scope, define and plan the project. This includes ownership for producing a commercially viable Business Case, which is in line with business strategy.
  • Apply project management tools and team collaboration techniques appropriately to effectively manage the project through the change lifecycle to successful delivery, delivering the outcomes as per the business case
  • Produce and actively maintain good quality project documentation, including plans, actions, decisions, RAID logs, change requests, incidents and governance in line with the project objectives to ensure successful delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with project team members and other stakeholders when typically there is no direct line management responsibility. Collaborate effectively across both internal teams and external organisations/strategic partners
  • Strong problem solving skills. Provide strong leadership and critical decision making skills to support the organisation in both the delivery and the adoption of change.
  • Works autonomously with support from  line manager or Portfolio Delivery Manager as required
  • Responsible for the delivery of the project within the terms set out in the PID/Business Case
  • Engages directly and builds collaborative relationships with in house delivery teams, third parties and strategic partners as  required.
  • Represent Phoenix, internally and externally, and promote its values through appropriate behaviours, including the identification and mitigation of risk.

What are we looking for? 

Experience in change delivery within a regulated environment 

English Spoken 

End to end Project delivery 

Experience of Strategic workforce planning 

Experience in HR change delivery 

project management delivery of Oracle HCM modules
