Job Type:  Fixed Term Contract (9 months)

Location and flexible working: Hybrid 

This role could be based in either our Wythall or Edinburgh office working two to three days per week at home. We recognise the benefits of flexible working and will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Salary and benefits: £23,000-£36,800 plus 8% bonus up to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role:

We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as Change Support Analyst to join our Finance Change Governance team.

The change support analyst role supports the planning and management of change impacting Finance, ensuring that change governance is operated and co-ordinated effectively. 

Our team facilitates the implementation of the Finance Change Governance framework, including undertaking duties for various project fora: scheduling, minuting, following up actions, maintaining and reviewing records of governance activity, executing point to point controls to ensure that change activity follows the defined governance path and implementing exceptions processes where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain high quality documentation and outputs including;  project trackers, minutes, agendas, actions logs, governance packs, stakeholder maps.
  • Support the Finance Change Managers to deliver change impacting Finance by booking meetings/rooms, preparing packs and taking minutes for governance forums as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and processes and maintain evidence/audit trail as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities in the area.
  • Manage the team mailbox, providing timely responses.
  • Support the on-going delivery of robust, effective and efficient operational, finance change processes and controls.
  • Engaging a range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Required to work within the defined governance frameworks.

  • Strong PC skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ablilty to engage with stakeholders at all levels
