Job Descrption
- Performs the professional duties of a Pediatrics Pulmonologist in adherence to the delineation of privileges depending on the efficiency and skills of the particular individual.
- Answer inpatients consultations from medical or other in patient services.
- Orders diagnostic laboratory and X – ray examinations, determining the diagnosis and prescribing applicable therapy and taking the necessary preventive medicine.
- Reviews journals and text books in order to keep current on latest techniques procedures and therapies.
- Participate in continuing in- service training programs, Physician’ conference, etc.
- Responsible for the proper practice of infection control guidelines in all clinical areas.
- Active participation and sustained qualification in all cardio – pulmonary resuscitation programs.
- Attends staff meeting and weekly rounds. Participates in in-service activities as required, i.e., morbidity & mortality conference, peer reviews, etc.
- Performs additional duties as designated by the superiors.

- Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship.
- Post- graduate degree in Pediatrics & Pulmonology from a recognized medical college.
- At least three (3) years of practice after certification.
- Excellent command of oral & written English. Knowledge of Arabic languaqe is desirable but not essential.
- Must be highly skilled in the particular field of practice, with mature clinical judgment and ability to provide professional leadership. He / she must have a thorough knowledge of
