About the Job: 

An opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Director to join the team of Madinat Jumeirah Resort.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Facilitates the creation of the annual Learning & Development strategy to meet the business and colleague enrichment needs per SBU and the resort overall. 
• To implement a formal monthly update encompassing all aspects of L&D including Quality Analytics with the property leadership and ExCom on various initiatives in play, new plans, and upcoming initiatives. 
• Works closely with various leaders across the organisation to design curriculums for all employees that are aligned with spirit of Jumeirah, culture, strategic imperatives, leadership development and upskilling requirements.
• Assists senior management in organizational design development and productivity optimization.
• In partnership with Departmental Trainers, is responsible for the timely update of the training manuals, SOP, presentations, slides, and L+D policies.
• Through clear Learning & Development Metrics and customer feedback continuously review the Learning & Development Service level provided across the hotel and make necessary improvements.
• Ensuring the effective implementation and administration of company-wide Learning & Development policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated Company objectives and UAE legislation requirements.
• Provides coaching support to Senior Management and HOD’s to improve retention and encourage internal career development.
• Ensures property coordination and maintenance of National Development audits and IDP tracking.
• Coordinates and deploys the Internship program and Management Training program when incepted. Partners with Emirates Academy to offer courses that benefit the team, including cross-exposure and internships.

About you:

• 7 years in a position of direct responsibility for Learning & Development.
• Educated to degree-level or above in a relevant discipline with appropriate professional qualifications and up to date professional knowledge (CIPD Qualification, MBTI certified, Coaching qualification…)
• Effective interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels.
