Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Manager - Strategic Planning and Analysis at DHE: DH Entertainment in this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

•           Conduct extensive research, analysis, and financial modelling to support and inform the various investment decisions of the company.

•           Assist in preparation of annual strategy and business plan which includes business and operating strategy for key projects, assets and initiatives within Dubai Holding Entertainment portfolio including retail, F&B projects, destination management.

•           Prepare feasibility memos, business plans for various projects for approvals. This includes preparation of preliminary and detailed financial models, compilation of relevant market research, conducting meetings with industry stakeholders to gather information.

•           Review third party documentation and identify key areas of concern and mitigation measures. Attend contract negotiation and finalization.

•           Suggest and identify preliminary list of vendors for various services as required and initiate discussions in coordination with various business units and the line manager. Assist in reviewing new business opportunities and third party tie-tips.

•           Continually assess various types of business risks such as global/regional economic environment, business partner risks, consumer/tourism trends, competition, operational risks as well as devise risk mitigation strategies.

•           Execute annual projects roadmap that supports several change initiatives and service transformation towards delivery of end-to-end application platform services, cloud migration and enabling digital customer and employee experiences.

•           Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing of the project and continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines

•           Plan and execute the CRM/Website and Ticketing projects according to the agreed upon scope, timeline, and budget. This may include working with stakeholders to gather requirements, creating project plans, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

•           Manage the CRM/Website and Ticketing project teams and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks. This may include assigning tasks, providing training, and resolving any issues that arise.

About you: 

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred is a graduate degree in similar fields and/or technology certifications.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant field
• Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint. 
• Strong understanding of financial setup, compliance, and procedures
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery (5+ years in similar role)
• Comfortable with numbers and detailed knowledge of financial modelling
• Creativity
• Analytical strategic thinking.
