Grade UE03 - £22,214 - £24,248 per annum (pro rata)

Part time - Guaranteed hours

Fixed term - 1 year 

 

The Opportunity:

We seek a part-time Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of an exciting Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in Data Ethics, AI and Responsible Innovation within the University of Edinburgh. The post would suit PhD students with knowledge and experience in these subject areas. 

Guaranteed Hours contracts will be offered at a minimum of 8 and up to 16 hours per month for a Teaching Assistant to begin towards the end of May 2024 with an end date of 31st May 2025 (with the possibility of extension).

 

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Prior experience teaching or as a teaching assistant
  • Knowledge and experience in data ethics, responsible AI, and responsible innovation
  • Comfort or familiarity with online discussion forums for online courses and/or prior experience with MOOCs
