Grade UE05: £27,979 - £32,332 per annum, pro rata
School of Chemistry
Part time: 9 hours per week
Fixed term contract: 12 months from start date in Summer 2024
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated student to help us develop our Peer Support offering in the School of Chemistry.
The Opportunity:
In 2023 we hired our first Peer Support Student Coordinator (PSSC) to trial new ideas to create a future plan for Peer Support in Chemistry. We now have two active committees in place for 24/25 – CAcFams and ChemPALS and so we are looking for a new PSSC to support both to provide Peer Support to our Chemistry students in 24/25 as well as maintaining a good connection and collaboration with our other key student group – the ChemSoc committee.
The Opportunity here is to us to capitalise on the learning, relationship building and resources created in 23/24 to further develop Peer Support in Chemistry. The Peer Support Student Coordinator (PSSC) will have the opportunity to work with their peers and the academic and student support staff to drive this project.
