Regional Marketing Manager at The Cannabist Company

Location: Vineland,New Jersey,United States

Reports to: SVP, Retail Marketing

Position Overview:

The Manager, Regional Marketing (the “Manager”) will work with the dispensaries and their Retail Market leaders to build The Cannabist patient/consumer community; coordinating and directing patient/consumer acquisition activities, as well as managing patient/consumer retention efforts. Working well as a collaborative team member is imperative to success in the role, as is the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are still being developed and maturing.  This is a remote first position with strong preference to candidates residing in either NJ or DE.  The anticipated rate of pay for this position is between $60K and $75K + bonus.  

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Leading local and regional marketing efforts including creative content development, email, digital and social media, CRM, events, promotions, and other marketing tools to drive commercialization goals.
  • Coordinate, measure and optimize local awareness driving activities and advertising programs.
  • Work with regional retail leaders and local markets to plan and execute new patient/consumer acquisitions.
  • Lead e-Commerce efforts to provide a seamless online consumer experience with products and promotions.
  • Oversee deliverables and timelines for customer communications within region.
  • Plan and coordinate with the dispensaries to execute regional commercialization plans.
  • Work with the Brand Team to execute regional brand marketing plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments to accomplish goals.
  • Adhere to all state-specific regulations and laws.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, business or in a relevant field required.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • Exceptional collaboration, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Must work well under pressure and within tight timelines and shifting priorities.
  • Medical marijuana product knowledge desired.

Travel %: 10-20

FLSA status: Exempt

Additional Abilities Required:

·       This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment.  The ability to lift or move up to 5 pounds, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks may also be required.
