As People Operations Coordinator, you will be a member of our newly created Global People Operations team reporting to the Global People Operations, Shared Services Manager. You will be supporting the business with people operations in the UK, Hungary, and Ireland. You will be responsible for supporting employees throughout their full lifecycle including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, creating and maintaining personnel records, employment changes in our Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and supporting with ad hoc people related inquiries.
You will be part of a People team that is supporting and collaborating with all our Cision group offices around the world. You are detail oriented, comfortable leading a team and developing relationships with relevant stakeholders, and not intimidated by systems or data, also a team player that fundamentally believes we are stronger together.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Carry out day-to-day people operations for Hungary and Ireland while acting as backup support for the UK.
- Coordinate and process employee data and documentation related to but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, payroll, contract extensions, leave management, and benefits administration for Hungary, Ireland, and the UK.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, contract extensions and changes, right-to-work checks, benefits administration and leave management in the Hungary and Ireland markets, while acting as backup support for the UK.
- Organize, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of personnel records within the HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
- Provide a first-class level of support to Cision employees by managing a People team inbox and responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Ensure the proper collation, processing and management of monthly payroll data for each pay cycle in Hungary and Ireland markets in partnership with the Finance and Payroll Teams.
- Support the People Partners with general administration and special projects as needed.
- Work with the global People Operations HRIS team to arrange mass uploads into the system as needed.
- Provide counsel and training where needed to other members of the People Team on local policies, employment practices and payroll impact.
- Help to maintain employee handbooks and policy documents. Work closely with the Legal team and external advisors to ensure compliance with current local legislation.
What we are looking for
- Detail orientated and have a structured approach to your daily tasks
- Comfortable working with data, numbers, and formulas within Excel, including functions like Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
- Confident with HRIS and employee data management systems
- Eager to work in a global team and lean in to support other employee groups as needed
- Service-minded, ‘Can do’, problem-solving attitude to both small and big tasks
- Minimum Required Qualifications
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience in similar role or field of work
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills and experience
- Experience with UKG and ADP is a plus
