About the Post
• As Admissions Officer, you will oversee the day-to-day aspects of admissions for our international postgraduate students studying at the London Centre.
• You will work closely with international students, helping them to understand the admissions process and requirements; assessing their applications against entry criteria and working collaboratively with the recruitment agent, and international recruitment team in Ipswich to support conversion activity.
• You will support the London Centre Manager in providing analysis and reports which provide an understanding of recruitment numbers and delivery against University strategic objectives.
• You will ensure that the London Centre adheres to University policies and procedures collaborating with teams in Ipswich where any enhancements are required to policies and procedures.
• This post is based in our London... Centre and is a campus-based role with an expectation that you will normally be office-based.
About the Team
• You will be joining a new team as it establishes itself in our London Centre at Pocock House providing postgraduate study to international students. As well as working with the immediate team in London, you will work closely and collaboratively with teams in Ipswich to ensure the objectives of the Centre and University are met and the values and behaviours of the organisation embraced.
About You
• You will have a degree or equivalent level qualification with excellence communication skills. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships with others, including students, staff and stakeholders will be essential. Attention to detail, digital proficiency and a ‘can do’ attitude are critical for this role.
• You will be flexible and enthusiastic, driving up standards and engendering a positive attitude amongst the team and with students.
• A knowledge of the higher education sector, particularly an understanding of admissions and having worked in a compliance and customer service-based will be essential for this role.
