With a focus on empowering our clients to leverage the full potential of cloud technologies, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud Architect to join our team.

As a Principal Cloud Architect at UBDS, you will play a crucial role in shaping the cloud strategy and leading the architectural design of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, define cloud adoption strategies, and develop scalable and secure cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of AWS-based cloud architectures to meet client requirements
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in implementing cloud solutions
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and identify opportunities for leveraging AWS services
• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements
• Perform cost analysis and optimization of AWS infrastructure
• Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and evaluate their potential applications in client projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture and design
• Extensive experience with AWS services and technologies, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and IAM
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures that follow best practices for scalability, availability, and security
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, VPC, and VPN configurations
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is required
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
