About You:

  • We are looking for a HR professional to join our global People & Places Team at Uniphore, working for the HR Director, Europe.
  • You will work in a hybrid model, spending time in our Nottinghamshire office (Bradmore NG11) and London (In future) to create a strong presence and meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders. You will be a highly proactive self-starter, extremely organised and thrive in an environment that is mission-driven, results oriented and team spirited!

What You'll Do:

  • You will work as a business partner for the European region, understanding the business drivers and ensuring you build stakeholder relationships across all levels.
  • You will work on any employee relations issues which arise, provide HR advice, and establish credibility as a trusted advisor to people managers and leadership teams across the region.
  • You will work with HR Director to drive initiatives, while tactically addressing the shorter-term requirements of the business
  • Be the point person for H&S activities at our UK locations.
  • Your job is to support our colleagues across Europe, developing your knowledge and expertise in European practices will be critical to your success.
  • You will work across all functional teams to support and coach managers on people practices, as well as delivery of training, coaching and development sessions.
  • You will have a diverse workload ranging from ER to projects, process improvement to L&D, you will juggle these whilst we move through our HR Calendar.
  • You should have a passion for employee engagement.
  • You may also get involved in workplace experience activities which may include supporting the smooth running of events.

  • Being part of Uniphore’s Global People & Places Team means you will:
  • Identify, develop, and implement HR solutions in line with the HR plan, as well as report progress and achievement of milestones.
  • Integration of core HR programs with global COE’s such as talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, learning & development, HR Operations
  • Partner with legal to ensure Uniphore meets its legal obligations when it comes to compliance.
  • As a member of the Global People & Places Team, you are expected to champion the business through HR and leverage the specialist functions within the HR team to support business initiatives.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR best practice and share learning and inputs with the wider HR team.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • You should have experience in an HR generalist role, combined with experience working in a comparable industry/organisation. You must be confident in your ability to manage a diverse workload. We would consider a confident HR Advisor wanting to progress.
  • You will need to have knowledge of employment law across the UK, if you have experience of European employment law that would also be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and be an effective problem solver.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
  • An innovative, self-starter who is self-motivated and confident with excellent commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, any experience of Workday would be great.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or CIPD qualification is desirable but not required.
  • Experience with Workday is desirable.
