Reporting to the Finance and Supply Chain Systems Lead you will focus on all aspects on day-to-day support and development within the Oracle EPM platform at Wood Mackenzie. You will work closely with the relevant Finance stakeholders and colleagues within the wider Oracle business solutions team to evolve the EPM platform to underpin business success.
Wood Mackenzie are currently implementing Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting and Financial Close and Consolidation as part of a broader IT transformation programme. This role will be responsible for understanding, documenting, and supporting the delivery of a development strategy for the EPM platform which will enable Wood Mackenzie to achieve the platforms full potential.
Main Responsibilities
Oversight and ownership administration of the Oracle EPM planning, budgeting, and financial close and consolidation tools (PBCS and FCCS)
Oversight and ownership reliability and stability of all month end processes associated with Oracle EPM
Support the maintenance of the Oracle Fusion to EPM mappings and and hierarchies to ensure integrity of numbers in both the management accounts and statutory accounts
Support the relevant Finance team members to ensure the integrity of the reporting of financial and non-financial data
Maintain robust and effective Oracle EPM system controls
Support testing and regression testing of changes, periodic updates and integrations within the EPM product area
Continual review and improvement in the use of Oracle EPM to automate and streamline data feeds and reporting of data
Provide subject matter expertise and training across finance while providing technical support to all end users
Work with Finance Stakeholders and to deliver a finance systems roadmap from an EPM systems perspective
Working with 3rd party support partners (if required) plan and support a programme of enhancements to our existing PBCS and FCCS systems against the agreed roadmap and priorities #LI-NT1
Qualifications
About You
An experienced Oracle EPM specialist with a passion and a genuine interest for finance digital technologies and products developed over 5-7 years of using the products.
EPM certification preferred
Experience of working in a complex business applications environment with multiple critical software solutions and integration dependencies
Ability to understand complex finance business requirements and translate them into
Experience in stakeholder management and engagement with senior business stakeholders
Experience working on complex projects with challenging requirements and deadlines
Highly collaborative with an ability to articulate technical language in simplistic terms
