Job Description
- Manage, lead, and develop a team to optimise their claims management and analysis capabilities, improve their performance and meet/exceed the expectations of the Customer and the Business
- Lead and coach all team members.
- Agree and attain targets both from a quality and quantity perspective and ensure service levels fall within the standards adopted by the business.
- Checking and authorising any claims that exceed internal authority limits.
- Review and respond to Complaints where required
- Work with the team to maintain efficiency and ensure targets are being met individually and as a team
- Maintain a high standard of quality on work produced to meet both internal and external audit requirements including reviewing for trends and identifying commonalities
- Target, manage and motivate the team members to optimise their daily activities for the best customer outcomes.
- Liaise with the applicable managers or departments to help construct strategies to deal with TPRs & issues arising
- Manage the workflow of the analyst Team, prioritising claims based on risk.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Conduct performance reviews, regular 1:1s & performance management plans (where applicable) for team members
- Manage and control absence as per the business processes set in place
