We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to support the expansion and scalability effort for our Valuations Service product offerings. You will be partnering with technology team to drive product strategy and implementation. The role requires a unique blend of business and technical savvy to create the big-picture vision and turn it into reality. 

The Product Manager role is an exciting opportunity for a driven leader to solve large-scale software analytics problems. This is an ideal role for an individual who thrives in proactive problem solving for development teams and defining engineering standards.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned Product Manager who has experience partnering with technology teams to drive product strategy and implementation. In this role, you will be supporting the expansion and scalability efforts of our Valuations Service product offerings. This role requires a unique blend of business and technical savviness in order to develop a big-picture vision and drive implementation.

Main responsibilities

Working with our Platform Product Team, you will be critical in balancing our broader strategic vision of powering the energy transition with the on-going needs of our customers in order to set a roadmap and continuously deliver value to our customers. You will be leading a scrum team focused on improving the back-end infrastructure supporting our Valuations product suite.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building, maintaining, and prioritizing a product backlog by writing user stories that include clear acceptance and testing criteria.
  • Consistently communicating with customers (internal and external) to understand what they do and the challenges they face.
  • Identifying and analyzing opportunities to improve our products by learning from, and working with, our customers and business stakeholders.
  • Effectively managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, leading development teams to deliver products and features that fit with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Building, maintaining, and prioritizing a product backlog by writing user stories that include clear acceptance and testing criteria. 
  • Partnering with Tech Architecture to drive technological strategy.
  • Using relevant industry knowledge to inform your decision making.
  • Defining, measuring, and monitoring product success after releases.

Qualifications

About you and how you can excel in this role

You should be passionate about bringing great products to market and solving our customers’ biggest challenges. You will ideally have a background in the energy or financial sectors. Your experience includes:

  • At least 2 years of product management experience including owning roadmaps, user research, and collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and company leadership.
  • A track record in leveraging data and experience to drive product strategy and vision.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing technologies, AWS preferred.
  • An ability to balance priorities by understanding technical and financial trade-offs, while clearly communicating these to stakeholders.
  • Experience with tackling big problems that require complex problem solving.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • An interest in making a difference to the way we power the planet.
  • A good understanding of the techniques and methods of product discovery and product delivery. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-based discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Information

  • We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future
  • Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones
