In the Langland Public Relations & Policy (PRP) team, we thrive on plot twists, surprising points of view, and unconventional approaches. In an era of echo chambers, dumbing down and polarisation, we think further, to bring thought-provoking health stories to the world and to make evidence useful to everyone.
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll work alongside the wider team on some of the biggest names in healthcare. You’ll be involved in managing projects, analysing new industry trends, providing financial updates and helping to grow the account. If you’re excited by advances in medicine, passionate about the work you do and never stop pushing for the best – you’ll fit right in.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll take charge of the logistics, administration and daily running of your account (including budget updates, invoices and status reports) as well as starting to manage some smaller projects autonomously – so there won’t be a dull moment. We need a great communicator (both written and verbal) who’s professional, friendly and keen to learn everything you can from the rest of our highly qualified team. It’s an exciting, hands-on role within a department who put collaboration at the heart of everything we do.
We have three focus areas:
The Senior Account Executive role will be similar to the Account Executive role but will take on more responsibilities associated with the Account Manager role:
Account management: Demonstrates curiosity in the creative process and is aware of the client’s marketing strategy.
Project management: Understands the importance of tracking time, scope and budget, while taking ownership of timeline management where assigned.
Finance management: Develops a good understanding of the overall financial processes within the agency.
Relationship management: Builds relationships with client point of contact and all stakeholders, internal and external.
Process management: Acts as the gatekeeper to agency processes, ensuring appropriate signatories and approvals are in place. Helps foster an environment of continuous improvement and supports in identifying efficiencies.
Communication planning: Understands the holistic direction of the account and the subsequent tactical deliverables within.
