Job Description

We are looking for a sharp and strategic Planning Business Director with a proven track record in client service and media planning. Your experience in navigating paid media channels (AV, paid social, display, programmatic, and paid search) will be crucial in executing client objectives with excellence.

📝 What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee all outputs from yourself and your direct reports.
• Execute Global Strategy at EMEA level, coordinating local markets for effective implementation.
• Take full ownership of the account, being the go-to person for senior clients on a day-to-day basis.
• Challenge and interrogate client briefs to provide clear direction for the team.
• Ensure all documents are quality-controlled and delivered on time.
• Lead and execute cross-channel media recommendations fuelled by insights and data.
• Meet or exceed client expectations consistently.
• Support the professional development of your team (AD, AM, AE) while ensuring their work meets expectations.
• Identify and address potential bottlenecks, constraints, and dependencies.
• Ensure the profitability of the account by meeting agreed margin targets and managing financial aspects accurately and on time.
• Plan ahead to ensure the team has the right resources in place for successful outcomes.
• Lead presentations at the most senior level, building confidence in our clients.
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude towards improving workflows and relationships.
• Foster good relationships with external agencies, internal teams, and media owners.
• Identify incremental growth opportunities in Digitas UK’s core capabilities.

Qualifications

👀 What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in client service/media planning with a solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
• In-depth understanding of paid media across various channels.
• Experience in leading large client relationships and marketing campaigns on fast-moving accounts.
• Exceptional presentation skills with experience securing buy-in at the C-suite level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for digital trends and industry news.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
• People management experience with a desire to lead and nurture teams.
• Commitment to open, candid, and honest communication.

Additional Information

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
