Job Description

Are you an experienced finance professional seeking an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

   • Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), providing insightful information on financials, operational challenges/efficiencies, and Publicis Groupe Financial Initiatives.

2. Financial Planning and Reporting:

   • Prepare monthly Management Accounts, short-term and quarterly Forecasts, and annual Operating & CapEx Commitments (Budgets) in accordance with agreed timetables.
   • Conduct comparative and variance analysis to enhance decision-making processes.

3. Client Profitability and Invoicing:

   • Produce and report Client Profitability Reports monthly, both at the agency level and in HFM as required by Groupe.
   • Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

4. Audit Management:

   • Oversee external and internal audits, providing all necessary supporting documentation.

5. Cash Management and Risk Mitigation:

   • Manage day-to-day cash management, reviewing balances and hedging invoices as needed.
   • Review and agree on monthly Invoicing, facilitating the process when necessary.

6. Revenue Forecasting and Credit Control:

   • Conduct weekly individual meetings with the client services team to review and agree on revenue forecasts and POC calculations.
   • Collaborate with the credit control manager to ensure timely receipt of accounts receivable and address outstanding credit balances.

7. Tax Compliance and Reporting:

   • Review and approve all tax reports, including quarterly VAT returns, yearly corporate tax returns, and PAYE returns.

8. Altair System Management:

   • Provide Altair support to the agency, including raising support tickets.
   • Manage Altair performance job management, including approving and closing jobs, as well as approving all purchase orders.

9. Expense Management and Payroll Oversight:

   • Enforce Groupe expense policies and review/approve employee expenses in Concur.
   • Review and approve payroll reports.

10. Strategic Meetings and Reporting:

    • Meet quarterly with the talent acquisition and L&D team to review centralised cost spending and discuss necessary actions.
    • Handle all ad hoc Groupe/Agency reporting requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role.
• Ideally, recent experience within a large Advertising agency/Network agency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
