About the client....

LVMH Group, with famous houses like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Bulgari, is the world leader in luxury, from fashion & leather goods to perfumes & cosmetics, including the beauty giant Sephora.   • Publicis Media won the business in 2020 in 15 markets across EMEA and created Publicis Media Luxe, a bespoke agency solution, to best serve LVMH.
  • Publicis Media Luxe's (PML) Central Team sits within Zenith Global HQ and leads the relationship out of our London hub, coordinating with regional Publicis offices.
  • In 2022, PML won the UK, France and PAN business. In the summer of 2023, PML won and onboarded the business for North America (USA and Canada). 

About the role....

This in an opportunity to work with the LVMH Groupe in a well-established Central team, dedicated to servicing LVMH Maison HQs and LVMH Media.   

You will work with, and report to, the Media Delivery Director, and the role will be one of the two main points of contact for LVMH Media relating to trading and negotiation.  You will work closely with all PML markets to help maximise media investment locally.

About the work....  

Publicis Media Luxe - Local Market Trading and Value Management Teams

  • A key point of contact (POC) for all PML local markets on matters related to trading and trading reporting
  • Checking and optimising their content for all trading related reports, before sharing final versions with the Director, ahead of validation and distribution to LVMH
  • Ensure all trading related reports and outputs are delivered on time:
    • Inflation forecast, AVB’s, planning rates, print net rates and quarterly trading status
  • Work with the Director and local teams on their trading strategies, and come up with new ways to approach vendors in this changing climate
  • Help ensure local markets adhere to LVMH philosophy and principles.
  • Work closely with PMX Global Value Management team to ensure work streams complement each other and agree output from markets.
  • Support the Global VM team on streamlining processes with Value & Savings tracker, Productivity tracker and LVMH trading
  • Support the PMX Global Value Management on developing the methodology for Productivity for digital
  • Investigate ways in which we can automate some of the reports through Media Systems and existing reporting
  • Share & reapply best in class approaches & provide client case studies specifically related to trading
  • Upskilling the central and local teams.

LVMH Media

  • A key POC for LVMH Media for trading and negotiation, ensuring local markets deliver great and accurate output for each quarterly local trading status
  • Attend each trading status with markets
  • Work with the Delivery Director and LVMH media to identify new ways to optimise processes
  • Work closely with LVMH on key queries e.g. comparing TV plans yoy
  • Help the Delivery Director to package up overall Publicis Media Luxe achievements
  • Share best practices to LVMH Media

 LVMH Media Partners

  • Work with key LVMH JBP partners (JC Decaux, Conde Nast, Meta, Google, Tiktok, etc) to ensure we are up to speed on new formats and developments, and share with relevant Maisons / markets
  • Work with PMX capability teams and LVMH JPB leads to provide input to LVMH JBP framework
  • Help develop POV’s, alongside the Director,  to share with LVMH on new developments and key vendors
  • Develop and share opportunities with key markets and LVMH Media

Qualifications

What you need to succeed....

A skill for spreadsheets, and the capability to accurately monitor and check 20+ markets. 

Your knowledge and experience will help local markets to provide excellent reports and trackers, always to deadline.  

Someone with global or local media buying experience, who has had contributed to trading negotiations for luxury advertisers.

Someone who can help local markets apply new negotiation strategies and approaches to improve negotiation results locally.

Your relentless pursuit of efficiency and effectiveness will drive you to contribute, alongside the Director, to devising ways to optimise a very manual and time intensive process.

It is important that you embody the LVMH values in your pursuit of excellence

Key requirements:

  • You will enjoy working with numbers and have very strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced XLS skills and the ability to manage multiple markets and multiple reports at the same time. 
  • A thorough knowledge of media trading metrics and KPIs used to measure media buying performance across the main media.
  • Great client management skills with clear communication skills
  • Used to dealing with senior clients who are experts in media negotiations
  • Ability to look at the greater picture and deep dive into granular detail when needed
  • Effective and persuasive communication skills to align client and agency teams
  • Hands-on approach is required to align a deep understanding of LVMH process and trading philosophy.
  • Strong team player who is keen to learn and upskill others in the team
  • Results-driven, you will come into this role ready to take responsibility for output of Reports and Trackers and be eager to share your knowledge with the wider team.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
