Job Description

In response to demand for our services across our editorial offering, we require a Manager to join the Editorial Team within our growing content marketing service, Publicis Content.

Reporting into the Content Director, you will help lead editorial planning and copywriting for your clients across a broad range of delivery formats – from blogs and articles to brand playbooks, newsletters and chatbots. You will ensure that all content delivered is sharable and engaging, meeting client KPIs. You will also help manage the production of high-quality copy emanating from the team of copywriters.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you'll have a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Providing regular feedback and building a trusted relationship with your team, empowering them to achieve measurable, continuous improvements.
  • Contributing to the development of editorial strategy and planning, unpacking challenging client briefs and understanding their business objectives while confidently providing input at internal and client meetings.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading original content copy for high profile clients, ensuring the highest quality of execution at all times (SEO best practice, accuracy of grammar and punctuation etc.).

You'll manage day-to-day relationships with your clients, resolve issues, and know when to escalate any problems to line management.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

Great communication skills, a passion for writing and strong attention to detail are essential for you to be successful in this role. You should have a keen interest in creativity, innovation and the future of the content landscape.

In addition, you'll have:

  • A proven track record in copywriting either in an agency or in-house setting, with the ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of editing and editorial planning, including long and short-form content for a variety of industries, formats and styles
  • A strong writing style with personality, adaptability to distinct tone of voice requirements for different brands, as well as flawless spelling and punctuation
  • Strong understanding of the role of editorial copy in content marketing, alongside the data and statistics behind it that demonstrate campaign success

Additional Information

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
