Job Description

This position is perfect for a highly motivated and technically driven candidate to lead the day-to-day strategic management of the Macmillan business. You will be overseeing strategy development and execution whilst simultaneously delivering client service. You will be responsible for the implementation of activity within accounts and will also have the opportunity to mentor and become a role model to the Executive on your team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Internal & external performance reporting and data analysis
  • Maintain a positive, open and constructive relationship with the client
  • Provide support for your direct report as well as opportunities for development and learning.
  • Define and develop your team organisational approach: primary point of contact for each stakeholder and overarching client strategy/goal on each brand.
  • Champion best practice and produce at least one case study worthy piece of work per quarter.
  • Execute at least one significant test & learn per quarter, with the aim of feeding into the holistic learning agenda on the account and continuously improving performance.
  • Ensure client and agency targets are achieved and effectively grow Paid Search revenue.

Qualifications

The ideal manager will have a passion for the digital industry and technology. They will have a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, be highly proficient in using paid search and analytics technologies. The individual will have immaculate client-servicing skills. They will be a team player who is organised, timely and efficient. Moreover, the manager will be effective in running a team and be sensitive to the developmental needs of their staff. They will be effective in generating career development plans, managing workflow systems and delegating tasks accordingly.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in Paid Search, planning, managing and activating large-scale brand and direct response campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Bing for Advertisers and 3rd party tools such SA360.
  • Leadership & communication skills and ability to engage with client and agency stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the principles of common attribution models and understands the current industry challenges around measurement.
  • Be solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance for their accounts.
  • Be strategic in planning goals for their clients as well as being able to demonstrate handling client objectives.

Additional Information

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
