Publicis Media Content (PMC) creates and curates premium content which aligns what brands want to say with what audiences want to hear.  By fusing search, social and influencer data we can quickly identify what good looks like for any audience on any platform for any type of creative asset.  Either by partnering with media owners and influencers or by using our in-house team of skilled producers and creatives, we create effective, impactful data-led content which ensures maximum engagement and earned reach with no compromise on quality.

Working locally and globally we service client accounts across Publics Media’s three UK agencies; Zenith, Starcom, and Spark Foundry.  Often working alongside other Publicis practices and services we collaborate to deliver best-in-class work with seamless project management.

The PMC team is 70+ strong and growing.  Media partnerships is at the heart of what we do, working with broadcasters, social media publishers, print partners, and increasingly gaming and metaverse partners, we activate over 100 campaigns each year.  We have a growing team of social and influencer specialists producing content to fulfill client needs in paid and owned channels. The fastest-growing part of the team are our content insight consultants.

Job Description

The Strategy & Consultancy team are the strategic leads for Publicis Content. You will be the lead on our largest client, NEOM. You will lead a team of c7 people, across multiple strategic and operational workstreams, and own the relationship with the marketing clients who are working on the biggest and most exciting project in the world. Your team will use search, social and other data sources to help clients make the right choices about how to approach the challenges of making and distributing content. You will lead multiple strands, from high level strategic thinking with senior clients to briefing and managing content creation end-to-end.

What will I be doing?

In this role, you will hold operational leadership across the full range of content creation required to launch a new semi-independent country – the work will involve planning, briefing and measuring a range of content in collaboration with multiple client needs. 

Within this, you will:

  • Help the clients set their strategic goals and operationalize them into content development, working closely with the on-the-ground content studio to produce effective content
  • Manage daily check-ins with the teams creating web and video content, to ensure that it is made in line with strategy, and that the right skillsets are engaged across the process
  • Lead teams in deep research on the content landscape to drive innovative, actionable content plans across web, social, influencers and partnerships
  • Own relationships with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Develop integrated content campaign ecosystems and associated measurement and learning plans to improve client performance

Qualifications

For this role, we're looking for someone with incredibly well honed client management and client servicing experience.  You'll be the client lead for the account, managing any and all content streams across Neom, and will be the client's main point of contact.  For this reason, experience of both client management and project management is essential, perhaps even more so than in depth, detailed content strategy experience.

Despite this, you will have a strong understanding of the value that each different content platform and tool at your disposition can add, and will be able to effectively advise the client with the support of the team.  In addition, you will have:

  • Experience with working to tight deadlines on complex client accounts
  • Experience with content marketing (B2B desirable)
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • In-depth industry experience, within an agency environment
