Job Description

Are you a master networker with your ear to the ground? This role is for you. The manager of audience development will identify and grow high-value audiences for MSNBC Live, our new live events business. This role will support curating the audiences of live events and ensuring the right people are always in the room.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategy for growing and building MSNBC Live audience and engagement
• Own and build the internal rolodex to ensure the right people are in the room for MSNBC Live events
• Work closely with editorial team to identify best audience that will drive higher reach and engagement
• Work with research team to curate most ideal invitees
• Establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners to create new channels for reach and engagement
• Identify best strategy to expand the MSNBC Live reach and brand

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in audience development and networking
• Demonstrated expertise in audience curation
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proven ability to work with internal and external partners
• Deep understanding of Washington, D.C. and its nuances
