Job Description

What you'll do

Reporting into the Chief Growth Officer and collaborating with our marketing and sales teams, you will open the door to net new logo accounts in the UK, contribute to all our marketing efforts (events & campaigns) and work with our many alliance partners including Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, Bloomreach, Google, Pega and AWS on business development efforts.

  • Primary objective: Net New Logo lead generation through outreach, support marketing efforts and alliance partner sourced opportunity development
  • Develop accurate, high-quality leads into Merkle’s sales team pipeline aligned to our sales process.
  • Develop close working relationship with senior sales leads to develop outreach campaigns to target clients/industry markets aligned to Merkle sales motions
  • Develop deep relationships and understanding across our Merkle practice areas and alliance partner ecosystem
  • Develop unqualified leads into qualified opportunities, adhering to standard opportunity management process applying sales tools

Qualifications

What we are looking for from you

  • Background in information technology, professional services or digital agency (Salesforce, or Adobe, Sitecore, SAP, CRM, marketing automation, CDP’s, or CX a big plus)  
  • Experience in end-to-end sales lead qualification – MQL to SQL, Inbound/Outbound, Campaigns & Events
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects are vital 
  • Research in a commercial environment through tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
  • Knowledge of industry value selling methodologies
