Reports to: Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Kensington Hight Street, London (planned relocation to London Victoria in 2025)
Salary: £30-35k
Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours
Bonus: 10% of salary (paid annually on achievement of objectives)

Job purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to provide strong and proactive assistance of the finance, and to partner with operational & commercial teams with analysis of the business, management reporting, budgeting and other ad-hoc finance analysis.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external business stakeholders, including weekly & monthly performance reports and quarterly presentations for each platform where the business operates concessions
• In-depth analysis of commercial results (sales, margin & stock, mix effects and KPI trends)
• Assistance for monthly financial closings (e.g. Newport submissions for the... group, stock provisioning reports) & P&L variance analysis against forecast
• Preparation of full platform P&L forecasts for corporate budgetary purposes (including sales, margin and store costs)
• Preparation of budget packs
• Partnering with Commercial and Operations team to provide decision support on commercial initiatives including pricing & promotion analysis, modelling and making recommendations to drive business growth & development
• Ownership of monthly rent calculations and preparing data for audited rent certificates.
• Ad-hoc analysis upon request
• Supporting with business development opportunities
Qualifications & experience:
• Business degree, finance qualification (part qualified)
• 1-2 years’ experience in FP&A/analytical roles in retail
• Excellent Excel capabilities; can demonstrate understanding and experience of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF
• Highly proficient at manipulating and analysing large volumes of data in order to identify key commercial issues/trends.
• Familiar with using business intelligence tools like Business Warehouse or BI4
• Experience of SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Analysis for Office would be advantageous.

• Strong attention to details/accuracy/controls of data
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to organise work around tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal/presentational and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (executives, accountants, store managers…)
• Fluent in English
