Job Description

Our Payment Operations department is looking for an Operations Specialist to join our UK team for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will be reporting into the Core Operations Team Lead, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service, in line with FCA(UK) and DNB (NL) requirements. This role will be remote working based in the UK and will require the candidate to commit to 09.00 - 17.00 Monday - Friday, including Bank Holidays.

This will include but is not limited to

  • Completing operational processes to deliver the best possible service for our clients accurately and on time. 

  • Working seamlessly with the Core Operations teams in The Netherlands, US and Singapore ensuring good communication, clear handovers and best practices are shared across the global teams.

  • Learn and maintain a strong knowledge of internal systems and processes, as well as an understanding of the payments and FX market

  • Identify & escalate issues with the Customer Success, Relationship Management team and/or Compliance teams to ensure a high level of service at all times.

  • Investigate and resolve any client queries or banking issues, identifying the root cause and proposing solutions to improve our service

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and supporting the Core Operations Team Leader and Core Operations Manager with incident management to minimise client impact.

  • Investigate any payment issues and liaise with our banking providers to reach a resolution

  • Have a continuous understanding of AML, KYC and sanctions – applying this knowledge and awareness to all daily activities.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Associate: Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications
Associate: 2 or more years of work experience
