This Facilities Manager is responsible for the delivery of workspace and campus services and facility maintenance activities for Visa’s 18-acre campus in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The position is primarily responsible for an administrative office building with 1,300 employees. The position represents Visa Global Corporate Real Estate and will interface with all levels of Visa local management, vendor service organizations and local City officials.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
-5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
-Experience managing contracted services
-Ability to lead teams and drive projects to completion
-Strong mechanical aptitude, experience in operation, troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems
-Skilled in reading drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment maintenance, and building structure documentation
-Strong experience in operation, troubleshooting, and maintaining air conditioning units, fans, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, plumbing, lighting, emergency generators and other common facility systems
-Excellent planning and organization skills and business judgment
-Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage issues to resolution
-Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, AskNow platform, BMS and CMMS systems
Preferred Qualifications:
-6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
-Experience leading a facility organization
-Experience in managing people and supporting high performing teams
-Experienced in facility service contract negotiations
-Experienced in decision-making and building partnerships internally and externally
-Strong interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills to effectively navigate a matrix management structure.
-Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate and build cross-functional relationships. Work with all levels of personnel and effectively interact with senior and executive management. Demonstrated effective communications to include written and public speaking and presentations
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
