Job Description

What’s it all about? 

The EMEA Marketing Manager for FX Brokers has end-to-end ownership of the overall Visa Cross-Border Solutions, inclusive of Currencycloud brand, digital marketing strategy - developing, implementing, tracking, and optimising marketing to ensure demand generation for our FX Broker side of the business and contributing to the wider success of the business.  

Reporting into the Head of Marketing for the EMEA region you will have full ownership of the FX Broker marketing strategy and budget. It will be your job to ensure that our marketing approach is best-in-class standards. 

We need you to be creative in developing unique ideas with an ability and willingness to adapt and change to thrive in our agile environment. We’ll need you to be one step ahead of the game and keep updated on the best practices in the industry so that you can keep advancing the function. You’ll need to have a strong interest in data and analytics to gain critical insights into our prospects and customer behaviour to influence purchasing decisions.

What we expect of you, day to day: 

  • Working with the SDR team lead you will build targets, KPIs, and a reporting cadence for your section of the business 

  • You will bring new ideas and suggestions to your section of the business team, fostering an ‘always improving’ environment to push the team towards being best in class. 

  • Working with your peers and the Head of Marketing you will report on your team’s progress and plans to a senior audience, gaining buy-in on strategy and challenging when needed. 

  • Although we’re part of Visa, we still have a start-up culture and expect any employee to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the work being done.  You will pitch in on ad-hoc campaigns and marketing execution that falls outside of the day-to-day team plans. 

  • Metrics and reporting: Establish the primary marketing metrics and report on the performance of your marketing activities and compare the results against KPIs and ROI.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Understanding of salesforce and Hubspot strongly desired and will be a strong advantage for candidates

Understanding of different marketing disciplines, and the ability to deliver marketing strategy across the breadth of the marketing mix.

Ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.

Ability to build strategy, but also roll-up sleeves and do the delivery.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Excellent team working skills.

Understanding of the payment industry, tech background (SaaS/PaaS) preferred.
