Job Description

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Responsible for the management and development of the sales pipeline for VAS, CMS and acquired companies.
  • Providing a vertical view, with direction and data led insights to drive sales performance across Europe.
  • This might include managing VTO communications regarding separation for discussions up to the point of the approved offer construction within the deal cycle.
  • Management and evolvement of the size, shape and health of the sales pipeline and forecasts against multi-year plans and sales targets identifying risks and opportunities to target attainment
  • Lead strategic initiatives and projects including white space exercises, propensity models, addressable market reviews, non-card plans with the assigned functions and verticals.
  • Actively participating in functional and vertical sales pipeline reviews with Senior Sales Executives, challenging, providing direction and insights from the markets to drive sales performance.
  • Drive deal management data quality and efficiencies to improve sales velocity.
  • Developing, executing, and managing projects, programs and accelerators that support our Sales Strategy.
  • Responsible for ensuring deals are progressed and tracked to deadlines, whilst working independently to resolve issues and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Delivery of subject matter expert advice, across sales process participants, on sales process, compliance requirements and principles and policies in relation to offer construction.
  • Originate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end Sales process
  • Any other duties, as may be required by your manager for the successful performance of your role

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Obsessed about improving sales performance and obsessed about Visa’s clients
  • Excellent data analytic skills strong attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to influence and direct stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to set priorities, manage expectations to meet deadlines, work both as part of a team and independently
  • Considerable experience within a sales environment
  • Strong understanding of the Function, Vertical, Cluster and Country specific market dynamics.
  • Good business acumen to understand the specifics of any deal that goes through the Deal Process.
  • Strong general knowledge of payments business and Visa processes and Regulation.
  • Strong mindset focused on engagement and driving innovation, efficiency and accelerating sales process.
  • A good understanding of the CRM platforms including Microsoft Dynamics and Delta.
  • Excellent MS Office Skills.
