Job Description

This is a 12-month FTC and will include both office and home working, with weekly travel across your region (from Inverness to Derby) as needed.

How you’ll change it up

Joining us as Regional Facilities Manager for the North of the UK, you’ll be work alongside a small, dynamic team responsible for a large property portfolio which includes offices, technical bases, and fibre exchanges. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Supporting the Head of Property & Facilities to deliver cost efficient and effective FM services to the business across the national portfolio
  • Assisting with general management of FM related activities including planned and reactive building service maintenance, project and financial management, space planning, risk management, health and safety, environment and sustainability, and procurement
  • Building and developing relationships with key contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the identification, development, and implementation of the Group property strategy
  • Understanding and delivering statutory compliance and health and safety relating to multi-tenanted commercial property alongside our internal SHE team

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll already have FM experience for a commercial property portfolio, as well as a strong track record in contractor management for both hard and soft services in a multi-site property environment. You’ll also bring the following with you:

  • Membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management)
  • Experience of method statements and risk assessments
  • Ability to demonstrate experience and working knowledge of current CDM Regulations
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Full driving license and access to your own vehicle – regular travel required
