Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Director of Brand Experience Novotel to join our Global Brand & Marketing Team as maternity cover for a period of 9 months. This is an exciting role driving the transformation and evolution of Novotel, Accor’s founding brand and a modernist pioneer since the 60’s.

Reporting to VP Midscale Brands (experience), the Director will play an integral role within the Global Brand & Marketing organisation developing, driving and launching improved and new brand experiences that are conscious, and drive brand desirability, relevance, and preference.

The Director in close collaboration with marketing, design, regional and transversal teams (e.g., customer experience and insights teams) will be responsible for driving workstreams related to defining and executing brand experience, signature experiences, product strategy, operating standards, SOPs and brand service culture.

Here is a snapshot at some of the great things you will be immersed in: 

Project Management

  • Management of multiple global projects from start to finish. 
  • Working in collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders to bring to life your vision. 

Brand Experience Design

  • Develop and own the Novotel Brand Customer Journey – Pre to Post leading briefings with stakeholders.
  • Develop robust Brand & OS&E Standards and ensure deployment and measurement in hubs.
  • Brand Management, New Product Development, Sub-Brands, Signature Moments (Arrival, Stay, Service, F&B, Wellness, Events, Sustainability, Family, MICE etc.)
  • Collaborate with brand marketing on partnerships, in order to lead deployment and implementation of the partnerships (including Calm and Rituals) on property to enhance guest experience.
  • Develop the tools, resources and trainings that are required for Brand Service Culture, Brand Standards and SOPs
  • Map and lead On-Property Touchpoint Optimisation and integration of ALL
  • Develop Digital/Technology Enabled Experience (On-Property) in collaboration with CX team.
  • Embed Sustainability Standards and Commitment

Design & development guidelines

  • Develop and implement guidelines for Novotel by collaborating with and using expertise of D&TS.  This includes: design briefs; design concepts, guidelines & technical specifications; development guidelines;  architectural and spatial design, construction and renovation standards, way finding & signage.

Brand health: measure, optimise

  • Measure experience as per new Novotel Brand Dashboard including guest satisfaction and RPS
  • Focus on and follow-up on brand Commercial Health
  • Champion Consumer Sentiment for the brand
  • Co-design Operational Delivery with hubs, and follow-up on implementation (objective is 70%)
  • Support Performance Optimization of the brand

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred in business or marketing
  • 10+ years in international brand management & marketing
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong affinity with hospitality, with background in hotel operations
  • Strategically oriented with an analytical and creative mind
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work transversely
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels in the business,
