Energy Aspects has an exciting, newly created opportunity for a well-rounded Power Analyst to join our growing research team, based out of London. You will need to have some experience in power market analysis as well as strong data skills working mostly in excel.
This individual will need to help develop our in-house power model, research changes to Europe’s electricity system, and help derive insights that will shape our forecasts over the short- to mid-term. They will need to be able to present our views through written reports and in client meetings.
A successful candidate will need to work closely with analysts across the organisation with a focus on power generation, ensuring a coherent set of inputs and outputs from our power market modelling.
Our clients value our forecasts and market calls and our analytical work is fully focused on creating forward looking views. Ideally, this individual will have some experience in forecasting methods, but these skills will be developed, in any case, in collaboration with our in-house market experts.
This position will require flexibility and the drive to go beyond the core hours when needed, ensuring we all fulfil our goals. You must be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success.
