Team & Role
As a Sales Executive, your role will be to sell Sesame, our software platform, and our Professional Services to businesses including small to mid-sized asset managers, hedge funds, investment management platforms or ManCos, boutique alternative managers, fiduciaries such as trust companies, multi-family offices or various principal investors or single family offices.
Our solution is a high-touch B2B evolving towards a SaaS and ultimately lower-touch model. We face little competition and are uniquely positioned in a high-barrier to entry business of lucrative fees but are still at an early stage of development. This means phenomenal opportunities for an individual capable of conquering new territories and evangelising prospects. It also requires mastering a complex product and converting easy interest into closed deals.
This role will be a match for you if you are proactive, self-sufficient and happy to get your hands dirty without significant marketing or lead generation support. Your conversations will primarily be with principals, COOs, fund managers or executives from our prospect universe.
What We Are Looking For
You should be able to understand the capabilities of our software platform & the solutions we provide to significant pain points, and able to identify customer struggles - meaning fully comprehend the Sesame platform and Landytech professional services value proposition
You will be articulating and communicating the innovative and unique solution that we provide
You will be evangelizing stakeholders on the massive benefits of Sesame solution
You'd be expected to execute against yearly sales goals, as well as pro-actively identify new sales opportunities
You will be owning 360 sales cycle, learning customer decision process, conducting prospects conversations by phone as well as online or physical meetings, maintaining accurate forecasts, delivering solution presentations to key customers, developing and negotiating software license proposals, closing business in a timely manner
You will be fully managing the CRM
Your Skills & Experience
You have 3-5 yrs experience in a B2B, enterprise software/could/SaaS sales roles, frequently closing deals of $100+K
You have experience selling Front-to-Back Systems, PMS, OMS or Risk Management Systems
You have a portfolio of clients and deep knowledge of asset managers and/or family offices and other financial institutions
You have a good knowledge of financial services industry and the different financial products
You have excellent sales and negotiation skills, with proven track record of achieving/exceeding your targets
You have exceptional interpersonal skills and presence to build relationships and influence key partner stakeholders
You have experience with Competence Sales and CRM tracking tools
You have strong listening, consultative and presentation skills
You speak fluent/native English, any other foreign language is a plus especially French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian
