Job Description

Main duties will include:

  • Work with the stakeholders including the project management team, Operations Director and install partners to plan and optimise project pipeline in line with current capacity and resources.
  • Allocate project tasks to appropriate resources in line with capacity.
  • Manage the project task completion by milestone.
  • Provide daily and weekly reporting on any risks to project timelines, along with mitigations to manage risks.
  • Update project stakeholders, which includes end clients, of any changes to programmes.
  • Provide contract management support for all install partners, including regular review and management of any SLA’s as necessary.
  • Provide support with developing and maintaining strategic install partner relationships for the successful delivery of projects, through cost analysis and benchmarking exercises.
  • Ensure the process for site health and safety / quality inductions are in place and followed rigorously.
  • Represent the company at external events where required and support with internal knowledge sharing and training.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Past experience in project management, and programme management, preferably in the construction, electrical and/or lighting industries.
  • Experience with contract management and partner relationship management.
  • Degree level education is preferred but not essential for this role
  • Knowledge and experience of LED lighting systems and renewable energy technologies and schemes
  • Understanding of design requirements for procurement and construction purposes
  • Track record of delivering business benefits through methodical working practices.
  • Excellent working knowledge of best practice specification and installation practices 
  • Demonstrates commitment and understanding of business requirements in all activities
  • Ability to communicate regularly and concisely to internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to ask and honestly answer the tough questions. Treating other people’s opinions with respect.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have high levels of attention to detail
  • Apply a systematic and logical thought process to overcome adversity

Desirable

  • Health and Safety qualification (SMSTS / IOSH)
  • Past experience managing a team and coaching them to achieve high levels of performance.
